Coconut Milk, a wonderful gluten free milk alternative, can be found today pretty much everywhere you look in your local grocery store. Usually found in either the “milk” section or in the natural food refrigerated section, it is widely available.
And if you haven’t crossed paths with this delicious dairy alternative, either one of two things will happen from this point on:
1) It will be available in your area shortly
2) Because you are now going to be made more aware of what it is, it will literally pop out at you while you internally say to yourself “Ohhhhhh! THAT is the milk product that gluten free website talked about!”
If this happens, you are “welcome”! I say that because once you try it, you will be better educated for having done so….at least in my measly opinion.
So, what makes it such a great choice for your active, gluten and dairy free lifestyle?

According to your personal taste bud inclination, you may or may not decide that coconut milk is for you, however, one cannot deny that this gluten free milk substitute is creamy and velvety in texture together with a slightly naturally sweet flavor.
This makes for a very nice flavor, for those who like coconut, in your smoothies and for a simple “glass of milk”.
The thicker consistency milk, found in the canned variety, are excellent and widely used in many tropical cooking dishes all the way from the outskirts of Asia to the Pacific Islands. Nice!
So, if you like coconut, you will love its milk.
